Typical prescribed dosage: For as-needed treatment, the usual starting dose is 10 mg before anticipated sexual activity. A clinician may adjust this to 5 mg or 20 mg. Daily treatment generally starts at 2.5 mg and may be increased to 5 mg. It should not be taken more than once daily.
Important warning: Do not take tadalafil with nitrates because the combination may cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
